چکیده
Carbonfiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites are frequently utilized in the repair and reinforcement of reinforced concrete members because they more corrosion-resistant, durable, flexible than commonly used materials like steel plates. Many studies have demonstrated that use CFRP as an internal strengthening material has a substantial impact on shear capacity RC beams. This research looks into possibility using FRP externally bonded to increase strength Because improvement mode failure based right configuration sheets, experimental work consisted eight beams with various types, orientations, configurations sheets. All were examined under two-point bending. The test results show sheet significantly improved beam’s ductility it is advantageous orient at 45 degrees longitudinal axis.

Mechanical Behavior of Steel Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Beams Bonded with External Carbon Fiber Sheets
This study investigates the mechanical behavior of steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams internally reinforced with steel bars and externally bonded with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets fixed by adhesive and hybrid jointing techniques. In particular, attention is paid to the load resistance and failure modes of composite beams. The steel fibers were used to avoiding the rip...
متن کاملBehavior of Coupling Beams Strengthened with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Sheets
In this research, using the results of 6 tests, the effect of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) sheets on the behavior of reinforced concrete coupling beams of shear walls is studied. First, in the experimental part of the study, four coupling beams with different reinforcements were manufactured and tested. Then, after the failure of the specimens, two of them were rehabilitated and stren...

متن کاملHysteretic Behavior of Conventionally Reinforced Concrete Coupling Beams in Reinforced Concrete Coupled Shear Wall
This paper presents the experimental results of four full-scale coupling beams in which only horizontal reinforcements are placed, without diagonal reinforcements, with the aim to develop reinforcement details for coupling beams used in connecting side walls in a wall-slab structural system. Each coupling beam specimen was designed according to the deep-beam design procedure that does not use d...
